With the new KTM 790 Adventure about to hit stores across the Middle East, WP Suspension has announced two entirely new components for the Adventure R.

At the front, the new WP XPLOR PRO 7548 forks now offer more comfort when using harder set-ups. Part of this is achieved by allowing unlimited opening up of the WP Cone Valve, so harshness is reduced. Importantly, all adjustments can be made externally.

The new WP XPLOR PRO 6746 rear shock uses friction optimized components, housed in a factory-style design, with an optimised WP PRO Components set-up.

WP has been working on the system for more than a year designing the new products in parallel with the bike. They also carried out many weeks of durability tests in the field, as well as on the dyno, in order to help establish the best design to meet a certain high level of reliability, combined with lightweight materials.

WP claims this means there are now no compromises between gaining comfort and bottoming reserves. At the same time, they also claim to have maximised the off-road capability by using unique technologies.
