The eighteen year old Spaniard started from first place and set the pace in every session. His 1-1 represented his seventh ‘double’ of the year. From eight rounds of MX2 prior to Latvia, Jorge Prado has claimed seven wins (all seven he has contested in 2019). Prado was understandably upbeat despite a hard weekend for his teammates in the MXGP class. “This weekend was a bit down for the team. There were some ‘ups’ like my victory and the good ride by Tom but then Jeffrey and Tony getting injured is upsetting,” said Prado. “I wish a speed recovery for both of them. From my side it was a perfect weekend.…

Energica has now completed the rebuild of all the Ego Corsa machines which will be used at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit for three days, from June 17th, before taking on the opening round of the series at the Sachsenring in early July. Bike Middle East tests the MV Agusta F3 and F4 back to back on track One of the perks of writing about bikes is that we occasionally get invited to some stellar events. One such event was the MV Agusta UAE track day at Dubai Autodrome, where the famous Italian brand showed off their latest range of bikes. The bikes on offer including the Turismo Veloce, Brutale 800, F3 675 and the flagship F4 1000. But being at the track we decided the best use of the day would be to take the F3 and F4 and test them head to head. To be fair to the bikes we took them as delivered for one session each and then made some “track ready” suspension tweaks to see how much we could get from each bike. Starting with the F3 675 for the first session to get accustomed with the brands…
