Indian Motorcycle clearly knows its customer’s like their bikes loud and with the right bits of kit, as the brand has announced the range-topping 2019 FTR 1200 S Race Replica will be launched exclusively with an Akrapovič exhaust as standard.
Limited to the first year’s production of the FTR 1200 S in Race Replica paint, the offer includes the Akrapovič low-mount exhaust in titanium and stainless construction with a protective black matte carbon fibre heat shield. The slip-on pipe adds to the flat track styling of the FTR delivering a soundtrack to match the looks.
The exhaust was revealed during the FTR 1200 launch party at INTERMOT back in October last year, with the part forming one of the many items listed in the sprawling customization catalogue. Owners can mix and match from the many options to create their own, truly unique FTR 1200.
But for the first year at least, they won’t need to buy the exhaust, as Indian will include it for free!
