With just a week to go before the official FIM Enel MotoE test at Valencia, electric bike builder Energica has released video and pictures of a crash that occurred in testing at the Cremona Circuit. Official Test Rider Alessandro Brannetti crashed one of the Ego Corsas whilst braking into a corner. The bike tumbled and rolled on the gravel trap a few times. The images released by the company show how little damage the bike suffered in the incident, which goes some way to proving how solid and safe the bike is in a real world scenario. Energica has now completed the rebuild of all the Ego Corsa machines which will be used at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit for three days, from June 17th, before taking on the opening round of the series at the Sachsenring in early July.
